Product marketing department have no idea what customers want and don’t conduct appropriate surveys and research into what the market needs and to release vehicles with features that are not outdated but current to continue to sell to people that have faith in a brand that’s worth it. The brand has been failing for years and not offer reliable products and that’s why your brand isn’t worth it anymore. Customer service is rubbish and don’t really communicate efficiently to responses or show empathy to their customers. You might as well follow in Holdens footsteps. Useless brand!!

Honda Australia are a pathetic company operating under the pretense that they are customer oriented and that their service warranty is comprehensive. The staff at Peter Warren Honda simply placed a bandaid solution over an air conditioning issue I experienced, told me to monitor the situation and promised to fix the issue at the next service. At the next service it was stated that I had damaged the vehicle in order to cause this damage and the issue was not repaired. I escalated to Honda Australia who fed me with a bunch of poor excuses, didn't reply to emails for months and ultimately took no responsibility for the verbal dealings of their staff or the vehicle itself. They are not worth the time nor money, their warranty will protect you from nothing.

Just got a quote for a new key. 434 for a KEY. Because the other key stopped working for no reason. This is Highway Robbery.

i purchased brand new honda civic in 2016 with five year warranty. a year and a half into driving the air-conditioning stoped working. I went back and forwards with Collins Honda in order to fix it. When the problem persisted I contacted Honda Australia but did not get much support. In fact they didn't care at all. For such a beautiful car that drives perfectly it is a shame that they can't fix air-conditioning (who wants to drive a car that can't cool you down on 40 degrees during the summer!?). Anyway, I have lodged a complaint with AAAC and they advised me to take them to the court. I did find it easier to get rid of the car and buy a new one (not Honda obviously!). My experience with Honda Customer Service is appalling, I found them to be unprofessional, dishonest and careless. Would never go back to buy another Honda, and I make sure to pass that advise to everybody I know. When will big businesses learn that they depend on their clients in order to exist?

Disgraceful customer service for me. Uncaring and uncooperative. My Honda CRV was recalled in February 2020 with no option other than buyback. I opted for a valuation which came back at less than their original offer. When I asked for a copy of the valuation report they refused. When I asked to speak with someone in Honda Australia regarding the valuation they refused and said it's not up for discussion and that I could take it or leave. Repeated attempts to discuss why I my felt my vehicle was worth above the "average" value were dismissed or ignored and ultimately they said flatly they would no longer discuss the matter. I was effectively forced into taking their offer. It's a shame (for them) as I've been a loyal Honda customer for the past 23 years having bought only Honda's in this time (3 in total). It had been my intention to buy another Honda as replacement for my recalled CRV (HRV this time), have even been to the showroom and taken for a test drive, discussed options and price however after the treatment by Honda Australia I will be taking my business elsewhere and considering whether I will lodge a complaint with the ACCC and Dept. of Fair Trading.

Total lack of customer service, and the phone lines always full. Been calling the recall line to replace my airbags and every time- I'm on hold for at least 45 mins before they pick up to tell me a honda rep will call back within 2 days, and they never do. It been nearly 2 weeks

Very disappointed with Honda customer service and warranty (or lack of). I have a less than 5 years old Honday Odyssey, that I purchased brand new, this car had more issues than my previous cars wherein some are even bought 2nd hand. Apart from the car quality, my main issue is Honda's warranty, or lack thereof, as the customer representative I corresponded with, merely dismissed what a normal car owner would have expected to be covered by the warranty. In my recent servicing, Honda has claimed that the following items (a) warped rotors (b) defective washer nozzle, are considered normal wear and tear so won't be covered by warranty. The car is driven just 10K a year and not aggressively. I never encountered in my more than 25 years of driving these issues, yet encountered this in a less than 5 year old Honda Odyssey.
