Our Nilfisk P40 vacuum cleaner stopped working abruptly after many years. It is a very good solid machine with fantastic suction so after performing some troubleshooting thought we would see if it could be fixed at a reasonable price. Vac City were great as we paid a 30.00 deposit to have it checked and fixed up to a max. of 129.00. If our vacuum could not be fixed for that price Vac City would contact us to discuss next steps. Vac City fixed our Nilfisk and its great to have it back. As Easter was coming up David offered us a loan machine over Easter but was not needed in the end as we got our own machine back. Thank you.
I have a Dyson DC31 handheld Vac that Dyson said was not repairable as parts were no longer available. VacCity have successfully fixed and serviced it at a very reasonable price. Turnaround was quick too. Highly recommended.

My order of a replacement turbo head was delivered promptly. It was of good, solid quality, made by Hoover, but unfortunately wasn’t the right fit for my Wertheim cleaner. In a phone call to Vac City, I found out that there was an the adaptor cord that might be necessary. Unfortunately this was not in stock, so I confirmed that I could return the item. I was happy to receive a full refund. Thank you. I would only say that I’m not sure how best to communicate with Vac City in writing as I tried the online form, email, this review site and Messenger before I received a response.
DO NOT DO AN ONLINE ORDER. Not responsive at all to online orders. I ordered refill vacuum bags over a month ago - less than 20 and not urgently required so didn't request the express postal service. However still no bags, no response to my emails requesting information about whether the bags have been dispatched from the store but money definitely taken from my account. I appreciate that these are difficult times however I have received 3 further items from other business (including interstate) in this period of time, including from Australia Post non-tracking service. I am only requesting communication and have noted the only responses from Vaccity seem to be via these reviews.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of service, would highly recommend. They were knowledgeable, flexible and the transaction was uncomplicated - part swapped without any issues. Thanks for a great transaction!
