Clueless sales assistant couldn’t tell us the difference in the wool carpet between price points other than constantly repeating that it was “deluxe”. We ended up pulling our own samples, laying them on the floor and googling to get info on warranty, etc etc while he stood there watching with a calculator. Despite this we still wanted to book a time to get a measure/quote but we’re told that they were too busy in the next week and couldn’t make an appointment. I asked about the following week we left our details with the expectation that they would call to work out a time/day- to no avail. We felt like an inconvenience. We have since ended up purchasing carpet from another company who were far more helpful with the product and were able to easily book us in for a measure and quote. Attending this business was a waste of our time and we won’t be returning.

We recently had the misfortune to use Carpet Call. We spent around 5,000 for a small hall and 3 bedrooms, so didn't go cheap. The "carpet fitters" that Carpet Call sent damaged every one of our 8 brand new wardrobes as well as damaging large areas of our brand new skirting boards. When the damage was pointed out they simply shrugged their shoulders. We contacted Carpet Call immediately and informed them of the damage. That was nearly 3 weeks ago and despite numerous telephone calls with Justin, we are no further forward in reaching a solution to getting the damage repaired. Carpet Call did send a "painter" twice to fix the skirting boards - on visit 1 he had to leave as he didn't have the right equipment and on visit 2 he had to leave as he couldn't repair the damage! Why didn't he didn't realise this on the first visit? Carpet Call's website quotes "We are known for our professional and knowledgeable staff". Well, we can certainly testify to the fact that this statement is completely false as our experience so far has been with staff who are neither professional, nor knowledgeable. It is shocking that Carpet Call think this is an acceptable way to treat customers and are unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage caused by their unprofessional carpet fitters. I strongly recommend that if you are buying a new carpet, then give Carpet Call a miss and use one of the other many carpet firms out there. UPDATE 12/12: The response from Carpet Call is not to be believed. I posted the exact same review on Product Review and got the exact same response from Carpet Call. I sent them my invoice number. That was over a week ago. Still no response....... UPDATE 19/12: Still no solution from Carpet Call despite numerous telephone calls.

We had a great experience with Carpet Call Moore Park. Daniel was great at answering all of my questions and ensuring that our carpet of choice would fit within our budget. Another carpet provider I went to was only able to give me a 3-hour window for measurement and would only book in an installation time after the measure/quote, which didn't work for me as I had a very tight timeframe to get everything done. Daniel at Carpet Call Moore Park, however, was able to book in a precise day & time for the measurement and confirm the installation date and time on purchase - winner for me! The actual carpet installers were extremely nice guys and very professional. They immediately got to work and completed everything, including vacuuming, dusting/clean up in the time we were expecting. We did end up having to pay a little bit extra in the end, just due to how strongly the previous carpet underlay was glued down. All-in-all, we're very happy with the work that was done and service that was provided!

After shopping around for a few weeks, I'm so glad I settled for Carpet Call. The staff were friendly and attentive and helped me pick the right carpet for my new apartment. The entire process took just a few days and the pricing was one of the best in the business!

Dreadful service from a very evasive sales person who was pushing us to commit to purchasing flooring before he would commit to a firm price. Said let’s just lock in the flooring and he’ll work out the best price after. What a joke, won’t be getting a return customer from me. We wanted a price comparison to do our whole apartment 63sqm and one without the bedrooms 40sqm. The price breakdown between both quotes was completely inconsistent. The breakdown between both prices worked out on a per square meter price to be far less favourable for the larger quantity than the smaller quantity. You’d think the more you’re purchasing the cheaper the unit price would be. Not the opposite. Disgraceful!!
