I am an Interior designer student. A couple of months ago I walked in had some enquiries and was wondering if they would consider giving me some off cuts on some of the flooring they had in stock. Politely of course, as this was my first day out as a potential designer.. Not only was she rude, she also, gave inaccurate information in terms of manufacturers. It was hard to hold a conversation, she seemed offended every time I had a question and would respond abruptly, like when I asked for the off cuts, she passively replied "well I can't just roll out a rug and cut pieces off for you!" she went on to say, they have sample they give to customers, she wasn't just going to hand them me..at this point I'm a little confused as to why she is so annoyed.. anyways, I simply left. I have since then had samples shipped to my home address from smaller & bigger companies within the industry, interstate even at NO charge. I also learnt, they are suppliers, stockist a franchise even, so I was 1 in the wrong place, as you'd probably be better off dealing with smaller local owned business, to get your money's worth (bcause they aren't under pressure for franchise fee's) 2 if you can't deal with them as students, you wouldn't dream of returning for business. I actually, had no intentions of writing a review but stumbled across Floorworld Caroline Springs, as I'm scoping for hard flooring for my 1st project . REPLY TO OWNERS RESPONSE; It was around March - April possibly late Feb (the earliest) That's interesting, I was a student at the time I received nothing in the manner of... The point is the lady was RUDE without the slightest idea what I asked but was happy to continue to be rude and throw around information that was not true.. But anyhow, thank you for reading my review. Your response has proven even more the service to expect should a customer have issues with your product or service....

I tried to DIY my own floors and ended up losing money, time and sanity. It ended up being so much simpler and hassle free having experienced people who know what they are doing. Mark from Essendon Floorworld was so friendly and gave me all the advice I needed to know. The process from start to finish ran smoothly and I was very pleased with the final product. I would recommend Floorworld to any of my friends or family.
Just had Sol & Christian carpet my spiral staircase today. They went over & above my expectations, 2 great guys. Would highly recommend Floorworld Caroline Springs. Thanks for an amazing job guys!
My overall experience with this company is less than satisfactory. I was shown nothing but disrespect through the process as they acknowledged financial gain has more importance than insuring their customers needs were met. I would highly advise to anyone considering purchasing from this company to reconsider. There are many other companies who WILL and WANT to comply with their customers needs, shop around don't settle for this company. I gave them 1 star because there was no option for anything less.
During this hard time where there is to be care and understanding among the community, Floorworld CS, from the staff, to the owner of the company Conrado would not return my 'still in the box' and untouched tiles. They stated that their 'profits' would be affected and were not prepared to do a return for me. I would give them less than a star if it was at all possible.
Extremely disappointed with the way this company has handled my request. My first point of contact was with a sales person named Michael who treated with me with the utmost disrespect when I requested a refund for unopened items. He declined my request and gave me every excuse under the sun....eventually I spoke to the owner of CS Floorworld - Conrado who pretty much told me that he values PROFITS BEFORE CUSTOMERS and this is the reason why my refund was declined. I will say to anyone thinking of purchasing items for this store......to thing again!!!

The staff were patient with us even though we came a few times and let us take home sample floor boards so we could place them in our house they turned up when they said they would and even cleaned up after them Chris was an awesome installer nothing was 2 much for him
