Very nice ambience. Staff was very good and know what they are talking about. Food was excellent. We ended up having many small dishes instead of getting a main, and I thought this was q good idea as got tontry many items on the menu. Portion sizes are perfect as well

JUST BRILLIANT! First time at Sezar and we'll definitely be back. A group of eight went to Sezar for dinner to celebrate a birthday on a recent Thursday night. The service, the food, the ambience were all five star :) We had the 4 course set menu which was a diverse selection of Armenian dishes in generous serving sizes. The waiter gave a very interesting explanation of the cuisine, the wine list and the (not to be missed) specialty cocktails! The entry to the restaurant is from a small street called Melbourne Place (directly off Russell Street) and has that characteristically Melbourne laneway feel to it. It is right next door to the Kelvin Club at the end of the lane. People with mobility issues may need some assistance negotiating several steps to enter the restaurant but once inside, it is all one level with good spacing and large easy access bathrooms. We had a great evening and highly recommend Sezar :)

great restaurant. It was just two of us and we turned up without a booking on a Wednesday night and they were able to accommodate us and by the time our meal came the restaurant was full. The food was delicious and divide of the restaurant is really beautiful full stop would be great for any sort of celebration or romantic dinner. We had the slow cooked beef short ribs which was absolutely amazing with a couple of side dishes and the entree we had was the tsukini 4 hours which were really really delicious. We also had a cocktail each one which was really great called the Omar and the other one which was Armenian Spritz which was not that fantastic but other than that really really enjoyed the meal

We did the 3 course and every single dish was outstanding! Choice of meat and spices is on point. Every bite was a conversation at the table. The vines in this place is nevertheless as surprising as I felt after my first bite. A fairly small list, but the variety was incredible, world list. The staff and service level is top!

One of the best middle eastern style restaurant in Melbourne. The environment was cozy, a right place for a date or so. The food was delicious although the portion was a bit small. Overall everyone enjoyed dining here — worth another visit.

Food was average, we had to get the banquet and not a single dish stood out, as a middle easterner can truly say the humus didn’t taste anything like humus. One of the male servers/host was giving me attitude although I brought in 14 friends, completely unnecessary. Disappointing experience.

I haven't gone here yet, but just trying to reach them on the phone is impossible. What sort of business are you running where you don't pick up the phone? The hours I call are hours you guys are operating an yet noone picks up. I understand if you are busy but just to be exact I have called over 8 times across 3 different days during operating hours an have not once got through, if you want people to come here, picking up the phone would be a good first step.
