Reminiscent of mums home cooked Lebanese meals. Welcomed by Sue who also prepares the meals, food was tasty and served by very friendly staff. Good ambience and music played in the background. Can get loud when larger groups come in. All in all a very pleasant experience!

Came here for lunch on a Friday noon. Lovely venue in the heart of Newtown with tempting middle eastern/mediterranean food menu! Based on the dishes that I tried, my fave had to be the New City Prawn & Calamari. I can imagine this place packing a big crowd on weekends or when they screen live sports matches. Love their super friendly crew too!

Delicious meals, large interesting flavours. Beautiful wait staff and a lovely atmosphere. Money well spent. Street parking but easy to walk to.

Considering the high reviews, we were a little let down with the service tonight as well as the quality of the food. The drink specials were good and we downed half a dozen 5 beers. However, there was so much oil on the mezza plate that it was too heavy to enjoy. The hummus was dry and the babaganoush was tasteless. The main serve of chicken (22) was only a quarter piece so we were surprised by the portion size. After we had finished, the table was half cleared and we waited 30 minutes before having to get up and request the bill. Compared to Al Azeel, the predecessor restaurant, this experience wasn’t even in the same league.

Lebanese and middle eastern cuisine in the middle of Newtown. The usual array of babaganoush, hommus and tabouli all in plentiful supply. With the banquet menu courses of entrees are followed with grilled meats. A good place for Lebanese in Newtown but still a far cry from the authentic flavour available in the West.

Very nice vibe in the evening _ Great lighting, heating readily available, lots of seating, a modern bar, a couple of screens that play the latest hit music and a private seating area upstairs. I love their fresh juices. Next time I will drop by for a meal after work. Love the cozy and hip vibe here!! It's a must visit for everyone in the area. Come on down past the pub on the corner and discover this hidden gem.

I will definitely coming back here Tonight my experience at dinner was amazing Food was fantastic but most of all the atmosphere was awesome!! Everyone was smiling and there service was amazing ,anything I needed was brought to us straight away without question. I’m not to sure if this girl is a manager but she had long black hair, she was so friendly and bubbly and our time great. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends and will be back here again.
