Leisure Pools took our deposit but never did any of the works. They just continued to delay the dig date until they finally told us that their excavation guy had done a runner with everyone’s money and without any intention of doing the works. We had to go through QBCC to get our deposit back & even then, we only got back half. They also illegally took a larger deposit than required. Avoid this company at all costs.
We have paid a deposit and Adrian Caruso has done a runner. How dare can Leisure Pools do this to honest hard working Australians? We have just built a house and been through this before where our builder went into liquidation. Our hard earned gone just like that and Leisure Pools Corporate aren't coming to the party!? Absoloutely disgusting. Do not ever go near this company! Dodgy dodgy dodgy and will steal your money STAY AWAY!!!!!
We recently finished having a pool installed by Leisure Pools Yatala. Whilst we are happy with the results so far, the process wasn't the greatest. The lads who undertook the install were great they answered all of our questions and where happy to interact with us during the build. The problem is with communication from their "management". Trying to get any information out of the people who supposedly run the place is ridiculous. We had delays in the start date due to weather events, which we totally understood, but there was very minimal effort given to notify us of this information. It seemed that as soon as we signed the contract and paid the deposit there was no further communication despite being assured by the sales rep that there would be. When I finally received a response I was told that the "office person" had been ill and was not able to contact anyone (totally able to send through invoices / demand for payment though). Seriously you're supposed to be running a business not a sob story counselling session. When you pay over 30K to a company you expect communication to be on the ball - at least a frekin text message to confirm receipt of payment!!! The pool is great, we haven't gotten to really use it yet as the weather cooled off a little too quickly. My suggestion to you Leisure Pools Yatala is to be far more aware of your customer base and remember that the way you all behave directly impacts how well your business is viewed.
Worst experience dealing with this company. They installed the pool incorrectly despite the site being marked out. Instead of trying to fix it the owner was threatening us with legal action. We registered a complaint against QBCC and also Leisure Pools head office. Head office acknowledged the issue and instead of fixing it swept it under the carpet. Now so many people in SE Qld have an incorrectly installed pool, or a hole in their backyard. Leisure pools should be equally responsible for this as well as Pure Excavations. I had actually called the head office requesting Leisure Pools North Brisbane install our pool but unfortunately the head office denied this request and in the end we went through a stressful process with this company. We ended up using environpools to fix the setup of the pool equipment and heating provisions which was not correctly setup. Paid extra to another builder for work that this company should have done correctly in the first place.
Worst experience ever, will never use them again. You can't trust them for warranty issues and when they do replace products they use inferior items. Staff are rude and nobody answers the phone. Stay away. Can I please point out this is not a reflection on the Pool Builder Adrian Caruso. At all times has he tried to help where he could. The Pool is great, just not the backup from the manufacturer.
Didn't even get a response or call from my online enquiry, after reading reviews im ok with that now, UPDATE: so it turns out in recent days this company is now under new ownership and i received a call however its been 5 days and still no quote
If the company is not Leisure Pools, why does their email signature and invoice say Pure Excavation Pty Ltd T/A Leisure Pools South Brisbane? Any emails from accounts just said Michelle Caruso with the Leisure Pools company logo and Leisure Pools website link. All invoices also had Leisure Pools as their letterhead and company logo.
