Great collection of equipment, tools, parts. But the service yesterday was cold, uninspiring, even uninformative. At that rate, little better than a mail order service.

Good parking, typical full Jaycar range. Easier than expected getting off and back on Victoria Rd due to bus lane.

They have a good product range. But most of the time prices are way too expensive than all other places for exact same item. Went here to buy a powertech mb-3748 unit. It was 269 in Jayvcar. Most importantly box itself says distributed by Jaycar. Same item available including shipping for 209 in trades supply's and 226 in Bintel. Then many other sellers in ebay and Amazon including shipping for 220 range. They don't do price match at all. Considering 206 include 10 aud shipping fee, Jaycar price is almost 30% higher compared to the retailers price for the items distributed by them. So unless you are in real hurry and willing to pay lot more than usual price, this is not the place to go.

Be warned if you buy anything from Jaycar. They have a 7 day return policy that is not advertised in store or printed on their receipts. AND they offer no store credit. Head Office actually reprimands stores if they give refunds or offer store credit by way of gift cards. Shop elsewhere with companies that actually offer better customer service.
