We recently had our wedding reception at The Refectory, and to say it was perfect was an understatement. After attending a wedding here in 2019, we just knew this was the venue for us. The room is stunning and unique, and suited our Art Deco theme perfectly. What really blew us away though was the exemplary service in both the lead-up to the wedding, and on the night. Marissa was our wedding coordinator, and she was so communicative and patient with us whilst we planned our wedding. She coordinated with our vendors, and organised the evening perfectly, we hardly had to worry in the weeks leading up to the day. Organising events during COVID is clearly a great feat, and she was all over the ever changing restrictions and rules. On the night, Raf took care of us like we were the king and queen of the world. She made sure we ate, mingled and really just let us have a great night. She was also the COVID marshal, taking care of all the restrictions for us. Our guests were all well fed and watered, so a huge thank you to the chefs, wait and bar staff as well. We are still coming down from our wedding high, and kind of wish we could do it all again tomorrow. Thank you! James and Emily Austin xx

HostCo were the venue and contractors who I engaged for my wedding at the University of Sydney this Saturday. I wanted to say the most enormous thank you to the venue manager Tran, floor manager Raf and their staff. Largely thanks to their input and careful preparations, Saturday was more perfect and delightful than we could ever have envisaged! Nothing was too hard for them every step of the way and they even let me change my mind a few times in the months leading up to the event. As far as I'm aware, every single guest had an amazing time. The food, in particular, made a big impression and most of our 100 guests commented on how good it was. It was the string trio and beautiful greenery and the arbour that Tran arranged via Anna Wang which really made it for me though! I recommend this venue very highly, thank you again for a perfect day!
I have been impressed by HostCo as a guest but last Friday hosted an important event at Sydney University using HostCo. They were brilliant. The food delicious, interesting, copious and the staff polite, helpful and delightful. I could not have asked for more. I thank them and recommend them wholeheartedly.

We recently held our daughters wedding reception with the help of HostCo. The evening event went very smoothly. Coming up to the event staff were helpful and very approachable. On the night we found the catering wonderful and the service was great. In addition, costs were very reasonable. Our guests reported the evening as a great success.We would strongly recommend this venue and group for your next function.
I recently had my wedding at the Holme Building with the wonderful team from HostCo. The team, and our coordinator Emily May, were absolutely brilliant in guiding us through a very beautiful day. Emily and team were very professional, accommodating and kind in the preparation for the reception and the running of the day. Nothing seemed too much for them even though we had many last minute requests that were each met and done with seeming ease. Emily, her coworker Raf, and their team, were brilliant on the day, ensuring that everyone present was attended to and felt a part of our big day, and we are very grateful for that level of service - it is very hard to beat what HostCo brought to the day. Raf was fantastic during the reception and really allowed my partner and I to enjoy the night. The finishing touches to everything were of the highest standard and the value of having the reception with HostCo is incomparable - they are a high calibre team without the level of stress that is at many other reception/function places. They really made us feel special and added bespoke details and services that were really above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Emily, Raf and team and we would recommend anyone looking at a wedding venue to stop here. 11/10 is an understatement for HostCo
I recently had my wedding at The Great Hall at Sydney Uni, with the amazing team at HostCo. The service and food were amazing, and the team went above and beyond to ensure that the night ran smoothly, with no stress, and that my husband, myself and our families were accommodated for. Emily, our wedding coordinator was amazing, no request was too hard for her and she made the planning of our big day so easy! Highly recommended!
