The service at this place is consistently, chronically abysmal. I can't think of a single time I've been in here and not left in a state of annoyance. Most recently, I've tried to purchase a portable speaker. I know which one I want, I know where it is; I just need someone to come and unlock it from the rack. I walk around the shop looking for any available staff; not one person available. Three people serving at the counter, no one in the queue, but 3 people waiting off to the side for service staff before me. And that's only the most recent in a long stretch of poor service encounters. Here's a tip, JB: if your business depends on service staff, hire some!! I'm done with this place: I'm shopping on the internet from now on.

JB Hifi in Hobart is where I go for CDs, Vinyl, DVDs, computer peripherals and digital camera equipment. The staff are always friendly and approachable, and have an excellent knowledge of their products. They do a lot of volume so their prices are competitive. On the occasion they didn't have a title I was after they were able to order it in for me The only issue I could raise is that I often spend a lot more time there than I intended looking at the thousands of DVDs :)

Its a preety big store. variety of collection with many many brands. price is cheap . its situated on the heart of hobart. there are different different section for laptop, tv, sound bar, headphone, adapter, cokking, fridge, camera, phone, earphone, sd cards, printer, cd. they have gaming zone.

Horrible service . Wrong product brought out after waiting 20 minutes in line.The sale ticket was on the wrong item. Had to pay full price for the actual item. No discount offered for the trouble.

Great store. Its the little things that make a difference- the shelf/product presentation is always neat and tidy. Staff are helpful and not pushy. JB Hobart is my 1st stop shop when I am after store items.
