after over a year of my Patrol going into limp mode and blowing tonnes of smoke and fuel gauge all over the place. Hastings Diesel has been the only one to be able to fix my car, i tried over 5 mechanics in Port spending close to 10g, including 2 quotes for over 10 grand alone, even said it might fix the problem!! i don't spend 10 grand on a might!! and not one could fix it, even turned away as it was a *too hard basket for them* it took 2 visits and my car is now running like it should have when it left PAG. My financial Burden is over! this car nearly destroyed me and left me homeless, thanks to Hastings Diesel and the team.

Car came back from him with two broken injectors, coolant in the fuel tank, a swollen smoking battery on the verge of exploding, and leaking coolant hoses that he was supposed to replace. Almost lost my car to fire and overheating on the way home from Matts shop. Got slapped with a 3800 dollar bill after a 900 dollar quote. The list goes on but he's not worth the effort. Beware of this snake.

I went in with a problem, they told me they found the problem, order the piece. The next day I call to see where they are at with fixing my car and it seems is not the right piece and mechanics are wondering what could it be. Next day I call, my car is fixed and appeerently it was the same first piece that was not suposed to be the problem. Ok weird. When I leave the garage about 2 min later another problem pops up, one that I didnt had before. When I went back to repair the second problem they charged me for a piece they changed even if it didn't solved the problem. Not satsfied at all, I have the feeling of having been scamed.

I got my injectors serviced in my Patrol, & upon noticing it took more winding over to start, now have taken it back twice for leaking injectors. After driving home an hour, it's now idling rough!! Sorry but I'm not going back again. Unhappy customer....
