Received outstanding customer service from Simon! Purchased a Rega Performance Pack online for my Rega Planar 1. The upgraded white belt and wool mat were great but the Bias 2 sounded veiled and muddy. I contacted Douglas Hi-Fi to see if it was faulty. Simon called me back. He was incredibly helpful and friendly. Simon explained that it does happen, the installation - from provided photos - looked good and that he would send a replacement Bias 2. Simon went above and beyond by offering to test the replacement in-store with the same components I use: a Rega Planar 1 TT and Rega Fono Mini A2D pre-amp; to make sure the replacement was fine. Simon tested it, sent me photos of the replacement being tested and described the difference in sound between the stock Carbon and the Bias 2. I received the replacement Bias 2 last night, installed it and this one is great. Thank you Simon for the brilliant customer service! It's reassuring that even though I live in SA, I can buy online with confidence knowing if I need help that one of Douglas Hi-Fi's knowledgable and friendly staff are there to help. Douglas Hi-Fi, you've gained a customer for life.

If your in the market for new hi fi gear... look no further. These guys have got some of the most amazing speakers, amps, turntables and the list goes on. And the staff are very helpful and incredibly knowledgeable, I feel simon knows more about 2 channel and turntables than anyone ive ever met. The showrooms are huge and these guys showcase some very high end speakers. I will deffinatly be going back regularly just to see what is a new arrival in the shop.
