Appalling customer service. I booked in some equipment online, which told me that someone would be in touch. Nobody called or emailed. I chased it up two days later and they said they don't even have the equipment and offered a MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE solution. I asked them to honor the price of the original hire as that's all I really needed and they laughed in my face and said no can do. No wonder all the lightsounds have closed.

The shop itself is good, full of equipment with good prices. Customer service is nothing but appalling. Called to ask the staff if he could wait 5 minutes past their closing time and was informed 3x they operate from 9:30am-5:30pm. Upon arrival he was just as bad as he was on the phone. Rude and not helpful.
Got recommended these guys by someone who couldn't stop singing their praises and I can see why. Really helped us out with a practical solution that didn't break the bank. Accommodating and patient guys that walked us through what we needed to do in order to set up for our event. Will be using them again.
Good place to hire things for a party
Thought this place would be a great place to go while on acid. Staff were rude and got angry after I played pink Floyd's Dark side of the moon whole album twice
Great shop but Nima (oxford st store manager) is shockingly rude and unprofessional. Firstly he misrepresented that the CDJ unit I bought came with no cables suggesting I buy third party ones. Secondly, after returning the unopened cables (with receipt) a few days later to another member of staff who "forgot" to process the refund, Nima refused to look into why the refund had not been processed or follow up internally with his staff. Needed to escalate this to head office. As I said, nice shop, but awful customer service.

I've used these guys at least 3 times over the last 12 months. They are friendly, helpful and are up for giving you the right advice if required. The equipment was in tip top shape and I was delighted with the Titan 12D speakers which were perfect for my backyard parties! Due to the convenience and the great experience, I will always use these guys in future!
