i was woken up at 5:45am this morning by council contractors on Chevron Island. The council has approved a 6am start (for the new bridge over to the arts centre) which is early anyway. but to start before this time is not on. i do not understand how a 6am start has been approved in a residential area. To add to this the workers were swearing and going on about their weekend and drug abuse whilst smoking outside my bedroom window. i have tried to give this feedback to the council over the phone and walked over to the office. i was directed to the website to make a complaint and when i was there in person the security guard told me if i dont know the name of the person i wanted to talk to i could not be put in contact with anyone. i think the process to give feedback is far to difficult, and this needs to be addressed.
