After our wedding being cancelled after Covid, the venue were so understanding and let us postpone til 2021. So grateful, we ended up having a perfect day. Catherine helped out with my 5 month old, and everything went smoothly. Food was great! Thankyou Sasha and the team!
We celebrated our daughter’s wedding this weekend and I couldn’t recommend Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens enough. From organising a viewing to the preparations leading up to the day, everything went so smoothly and with so little of the stress that you hear about when planning a wedding. Every staff member we came in contact with was beyond helpful. We took advantage of the in-house styling which made the whole experience so much easier for us. On the day, the venue looked stunning. The gardens and marquee are so beautiful, you really don’t need to do too much in the way of decorating. Our guests were able to spread out onto the lawn after the ceremony and meal, and this gave a very relaxed and intimate feel to the evening, which was just what we wanted. Thank you to all the team at Bundaleer for making the wedding of Lynsey and Alex one of the happiest and most memorable day of their life.
We originally booked Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens (Jacaranda Tree and Marquee) in August 2019 for an October 2020 wedding. With the ever-changing restrictions that COVID imposed, Sasha was wonderful with keeping us up-to-date and even offering the option of a ghost date in 2021 if we needed to postpone the wedding. She fully recognised our desire to have an enjoyable day for both ourselves and our guests whilst being COVID-safe, and was able to help us troubleshoot and guide us through any issues that arose. She was incredibly patient with our (seemingly endless!) questions and always did her best to accommodate our requests. We were able to go in two days prior to set up and drop off alcohol (Bundaleer’s BYO option is excellent – we were able to get the drinks we wanted and just had to pay a corkage fee per head). Catherine and Michael were wonderful with helping us out during this process; and on the day itself, Catherine offered so much reassurance, liaised with all our suppliers and worked effortlessly in the background to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The fairy light backdrop, festoon lighting and LOVE sign all added to the magic of the day. The staff on the day were excellent, and a special shout-out to Bella who could not have been nicer and more obliging with supplying the bridal party with food and drinks. We opted for Gourmet BBQ Style Menu – canapes were delicious, however some of the meat during the main service was slightly undercooked. Nonetheless, Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens was otherwise perfect backdrop for our perfect day – thank you to the amazing team who made our day so memorable and special!
We just want to say a HUGE thankyou to Sasha and her team at Bundaleer for helping to make our wedding day perfect! Our wedding was cancelled this week due to the lockdown :( Sasha called me as soon as this was announced to offer an alternative date and when we asked, can we do it today? Expecting it to be too short of notice, she said yes! She then went on to organise the wedding location, canopes for a short reception, and even tended the bar herself for our guests. Sasha, you went above and beyond for us. Not once did we feel stressed or like our day had been taken away, because you gave us everything we wanted, and more! And then yesterday, a refund for the guests that weren't able to make it without even asking, it just blew us away. Your honesty and kindness amidst all of this covid uncertainty is so warming and inspiring. Thank you Sasha.
My partner and I started planning our wedding for May 2020 in late 2019 after moving back to Brisbane from Tasmania. After living in such a picturesque state for 2 years we were looking for somewhere green, lush and natural to have our wedding as opposed to in the city. A friend recommended Bundaleer and we fell in love on our first visit. We decided to have our ceremony on the waterfall deck and our reception in the treetops room. The venue manager Sasha was absolutely incredible from day one. You can really tell she is a professional at what she does and that she has been doing it for a long time, I felt she was prepared for absolutely any questions we had. Then 2020 came around and everything started to change. Restrictions came in and our wedding was inevitably postponed. Sasha communicated with us every single step of the way. You could really tell from her emails she cared about all of the couples who had weddings booked during this time; I felt like her heart was breaking with ours. Once things calmed down she helped us pick a new date and was so so helpful every time we sent her an email loaded with random questions. She had so many great suggestions, from how much/what kinds of alcohol to serve to having a farewell sparkler arch. I really felt I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Our wedding day was absolutely STUNNING. Sasha and her team were so thoughtful and attentive. The service was speedy, the food was delicious, the grounds and room looked stunning. I highly recommend Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens for all couples with any kind of budget for their big day. This venue has so much potential for whatever kind of wedding you dream of having!
Sasha and the Bundaleer team were an absolute pleasure to work with! Great communication from start to finish! The venue is incredibly beautiful and our guests loved the serene of the marquee! We couldn't recommend Bundaleer enough!
We visited for a wedding at the end of January and the shade made for a lovely venue even though it was rather warm. The staff were down to earth and all the facilities were neat and tidy.
