We couldn't be happier with our new floors! Oakland Timber Floors is a fantastic company to choose, and I'd happily recommend them to anyone. We were in a situation where we needed our floors installed fast (realised just before moving into a new place that the carpets downstairs weren't salvageable even after a deep cleaning). I called Oakland Timber Floors and Chris came out the same day! He got the measurements and brought samples of the engineered wood floors for us to choose from. We checked with other companies and not only were they double the price, but they also couldn't install our floors for weeks (one was two months!) later. They also wanted us to go to them, visiting their showrooms. Chris helped us get our new floors installed less than a week after him coming to do the measurements. He also responded to texts, emails and phone calls promptly. The crew was hard working, meticulous and got the living and dining room floors installed in less than 10 hours on the weekend. They went above and beyond at Oakland Timber Floors, and I am just thrilled with their work.

I rarely write a Google review but I could not be happier with my choice of Oakland Timber Floors for my floors. I had to move in quite urgently and I had been to different places. It was such as a great pleasure to have Chris to help me out as he truly understood my situation. Chris was very informative and knowledgeable from the start and answered my questions very patiently. He came to inspect proactively, measure and bring various samples of floors for me to choose. He also responded to texts, emails and phone calls promptly. The whole experience from the start to completion of the job was hassle-free, on time and of the highest quality despite my existing very sticky damaged carpet underlay was sooooo hard to remove! I really appreciate the amount of effort and energy they put into this job. The price was extremely reasonable and what is included in the price and anything extra is clearly explained. The floors are exactly what I wanted and I was so amazed to see the beautiful flooring after I finished work and got home! I highly recommend Oakland Timber Floors for their professionalism, high quality of work and great service!
Extremely dissatisfied, don't use this company just because of the price, it's loads of headaches working with this place. The floorboards were installed with uneven finish and we ended up having squeaky and bouncing floorboards. After the boards were installed, we can’t stop smelling some strong new smell in the house which persist in every room that has the boards installed for more than a year. I had a concern about the odor and an independent company in to do air quality test. They found that our bedroom has a high level of formaldehyde (The room has Formaldehyde Concentration 130 ng/L or 100 ppb which is higher than the recommended level for home environment) I tried complaining to the company by email and phone, Chris responded in an extremely annoyed mood, very very poor customer service, very disrespectful of my time and wasted thousands of dollars on floors that probably won't last very long.
Poor customer service after they have installed the floors, and sides of the floors are not durable and start to crack (see photo). This was after about two years of having the floors. Attempted to contact them through email twice to try and fix it, but have not heard back.
Last week we asked this company to resand the floor in my newly-bought granny flat.The guys who worked in my home were pleasant and punctual, they completed the job on time, and they left my rooms as clean as they were when they started. They eliminated all staining, and even several deep scratches were subsequently completely unnoticeable. The floor truly looked amazing when they finished.We're very satisfied with the result. Highly recommended.
I recently hired this company to do a small job in my apartment which involved pulling up my existing damaged floor and installing a new floor. I was very pleased with the amount of efforts and energy they put into this such a small job. The new floor perfectly matches the existing one in other rooms. I will use them for future flooring needs.
These guys exceeded my expections-finifshed job two days earlier than scheduled, they did everything we asked about, and cleaned the area when finished. Excellent workmanship. Five stars without a doubt.
From the first phone call I made for enquiry till the very end we had a very pleasant experience. Our house is about 80 years old and the entire floor was uneven. There were a couple of lumps and bumps in some area. Their consultant came to our place for inspection and explained us with all issues of the floor situation that we had, and also advised us a fabulous solution to prepare the subfloor before laying down the new flooring. They also made very detailed and clear quotation for us by listing prices of each item included. The job was completed very quickly. Their thorough cleanup at the end was so impressive to us. I would definitely recommend them to others.
