I am delighted with my shade sail. It gives so much protection against the sun and heat - I can now use a room in my house that was always 'a no-go zone' in summer. The sail also looks stunning and enhances the street view of my house. Thank you Aussie Cool Shades for providing us with great service. I contacted company about a shade sail that needed repair from bad stitching in my sails. Older gentlemen informed me that they recently switch fabric as the new thread has a 15 year warranty. I returned my sail (that they made) to be repaired which the company didn’t provide me any quote or paperwork regarding my repair. They simply wrote my number down on a business card. I get a call two weeks later saying that they repaired the bad stitching on my sail. I took some time off work to attend their office, once there an older lady said she did know where the sails was and she would contact me later. Another week went by and she finally called to say it ready for pick up. Again, I took time off to goto their office which I picked up the sail. Returned to my can to which the older gentleman can out to my care and wanted to ensure everything was in order. It wasn’t until 4pm that I received a very rude phone call from the older lady in the office stating that I have to pay the repairs. I explained to her that nothing was said during the 4 weeks of going back and forth that there was any cost to pairing low quality stitching. She tried to back peddling and then tried to say that I owed 275 and told me that not how you do business. I explained that I didn’t have a problem with paying, but you never said anything about it nor did you provide and quote or costings. She became very rude. I would never recommend a company that employ such rude people. I had such a great experience when purchasing and installation of their product. Just don’t ask for any customer service out of their front office.
Very happy with the service I got.The after sales service was excellent .Greg came out and helped me put the sail up which was not expected and changed over some of my connections.Very thankful for your help Greg.Will recommend your company to my friends any day.
This is the second time we have used Aussie Cool Shades to repair the sails in our home initially installed by another shade sail provider. On both occasions we have found all staff to be professional and accomodating to the our particular needs. We have 5 large sails on our property. I chose to wait to have my sails repaired at a time that was mutually agreeable and I am very happy with the result. Thank you Aussie Cool Shades. Libby Ingerson
Extremely disappointing customer service. I patiently contacted and re contacted Aussie Cool Shades for over a 6 month period. Realising I originally contacted them in the height of peak season, I again contacted them in winter and received an online quote that I was very pleased with. Finally, about 2 months later after follow up emails, numerous phone calls and changes in arranged visit times, they attended a home visit. Appearing very professional and knowledgeable about the job to be completed, I never heard from them again, despite again contacting them numerous times seeking the amended quote. A very poor way of telling me they do not wish to have my business, when I had been so very accommodating and patient with them.
Best investment I ever made. Service was fantastic. Worked around existing cat run. Nothing was too much. Highly recommended. Loving my shade today!
Very unprofessional. Made arrangements to come give a quote at a specific time Friday. Rang to say couldn't make it an hour after the appointment. We rescheduled for the following morning and they rang 10minites after that appointment time to say they were going to be 30 minutes late as they were on the road. When I said "it's fine", he got offended and said it's just what happens in trade and won't be coming by. Even after I clarified that I meant coming 30 minutes late is fine he spoke over me and hung up.
