Great customer service, great products. I purchased several rugs and runners from them and they gave me great advice and very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend buying rugs, carpet or runners from them.

Ordered timber in Jan 2019 to be delivered in March 2019 (have the agreement, signed by them). Nothing heard from them until June 2019. It was already three months after the date they were supposed to make the timber available. Since then, I have been fighting for a refund and nothing happens. For a while, their excuse was that the contract is under my wife's name and I cannot talk to them on my wife's behalf. Really? You seem too much adhered to legal things, but not to the so-called "written agreement" we had. I had to ask my wife to sign authorisation and send it to them. Their managers and salesperson won't pick up their phone and talk to me. Have called them tens of times and emailed tens of times. After complaining via their social media account, one of their guys wrote to me by email that the orders have been sitting at their warehouse for over two years!!! What a joke and what a lie!!!! I have their internal record which says the order only arrived at their warehouse in June 2019. Now, they won't pick up their phone and won't acknowledge that they breached the agreement term. I have ALL the evidence. I have talked to Fair Trading who contacted Carpet Call and told them to make the full refund. They don't care. They have our 900 deposit and making business on our money. I am writing this to warn people!!! Once you pay a deposit, your money is gone! My next step is to go to the Tribunal!!! Will update this post later.

So far this store deserves a minus 5 stars for Customer service. Failed to return calls after their installer did not turn up to do the job. Spoke to Warwick regards the installer, he said he would call back. That did not happen. Then the installer makes contact late at night and wants to install the carpet at 6.30am the next morning. Head office personnel lack customer service acumen also. No real effort to assist. Best advice I can give is, if you want quality customer satisfaction you may not get it from this organisation. Try another Carpet company.

I had originally scoped out our carpet with the competitor and was really dissapointed with their service (rude and dishonest) so gave Carpet Call a go. The guy was very nice and came out to our place at a time that suited us for a measure and quote. They matched the competitors price so we went with them for our order. The installers on the day were fantastic. We were quite fussy with our trims and didnt want a large transition piece/plate so they worked with what we had bought for trims. They also added extra adhesive around the edges as we mentioned that our cat likes to get his claws into carpet. Would recommend and use them again.

EDIT: I was able to resolve the issues after my case was escalated to the Area Manager Daniel. After explaining my case to him, he was empathetic and understanding and we were able to come up with a good path forward. The project proceeded and the finished work is good quality considering the difficulties working in an old house. Upgraded to 3 stars. If I could give 0 stars I would. Initial experience was great, sales team were friendly and helpful and keen to close the sale. After confirming the order and paying the deposit, it’s been call call Carpet Call every couple of days to follow up or chase up progress. Each delay was blamed on internal issues such as change of management or missing notes on my file, which are customer care fundamentals and completely within their control to manage. There were also mixed messages throughout the experience. One person’s “leave it with me I’ll take care of it” was another person’s “that’s not within our responsibility” or “I don’t know what you’re talking about”. I can’t comment on the workmanship or quality of the product as nothing has been installed, but if the other reviews are correct, this would be more a testament to their subbies than Carpet Call themselves. If you want experts in clownery, you know who to call!
