Brilliant spot for a bit of a splash, fish or a paddle. Bit of a walk from the carpark to the water but the path is easy. This is also the only launch spot with a BBQ Area (up in Attie Sullivan Park) or a toilet. It's crazy to see under Normanby Bridge & imagining it underwater in a major flood. Also loved seeing the remains of the old bridge.

My son and I kayak here regularly. If you paddle far you may have to drag your kayak. Really good for standup paddle boards as well.
