We walked through the wetlands for about 3 hours taking in the sights and learning about the local flora and fauna while we were orienteering. The kids had fun looking for the markers and finished up with a play at the park. The weather was perfect and we stopped for a delicious berry smoothie and souvenirs on our way out. Such a variety of things to do, it was a great day!

Beautiful place to unwind. Great for watching and listening to all kinds of birds. There are two trails to go for hike which can be done in 2 hours. Staff are friendly, feel free to chat about the place. I think experience can be improved by Audio/Visual information display and may be grouping people for informative tour.

We went for a family walk here and it was beautiful. Strongly recommend not wearing black for the mosquitos though!

A nice place to go for a walk a view some of the wildlife. Can be a few mosquitoes, but they usually have some repellent and sunscreen at the entrance.

The Wetlands Centre has been created as a haven for birds. It has a group of ponds inhabited by numerous species of birds, including magpie geese which are fed every day. The ponds are connected by a web of walking trails There are several hides for observing birds. As well as self guided walks the Centre offers tours. There are also children's activities.
