My experience at Apple Hornsby was nothing short of dreadful. After making a an appointment for 11:40 we were not admitted to the store until 12:07. Once in the store the staff were rude, dismissive and largely unhelpful. In fact even their coffees stemmed of a higher priority than customer service. After we were told it would take 1 hour for our device to be repaired and ready for pick up we returned and proceeded to wait and extra hour and a half longer and then over charged than the quoted price. I'm selling my phone now and getting an android.

Your staff should be trained on handling calls. Estimated time of pick up for my machine was 12th April,2021. On calling National support and Hornsby store the receiver had no clue of the status of the machine. The status was not updated since 5th April in the system.Hornsby staff had no no clue when the technician will arrive to repair the machine and said will call you whenever it is ready. I booked an appointment at 1:10 pm and was admitted at 1:45 pm, then waited for 15 minutes to be serviced, despite the store having handful of customers Shambolic service Apple ,wake up.Absolutely useless customer service and experience

Apple store experience is good. Service department aka Genius Bar is a place to get scammed. If your device is out of warranty, they will do everything possible to make it seem “buying a new one” is a better solution that repairing whatever you have. I had an earpiece speaker fault on iPhone XS Max, and I was ready to pay for repairs, however the solution they’ve suggested was “Sending the phone away for 2 weeks for an additional assessment and a screen assembly replacement” (the device had no physical or liquid damage as confirmed by Genius Bar employee). They noted that if “any additional damage is found” I would be charged for full cost of the screen assembly replacement. That’s with a 2 week turnaround time. Went down a level to an indie repair shop where the technician managed to replace the earpiece speaker under 20 minutes, and getting the issue resolved. To top it all off I saw an older gentleman come in to Genius Bar with a keyboard issue on his 2016 MacBook, which is a widespread problem, and got a standard “we can blow some compressed air into it, because it’s free and your device is out of warranty” treatment. I’m pretty sure there’s a recall or “service program” for free replacement of keyboards on these models. Don’t go here if your device is out of warranty. You will get scammed. Find a trusted indie repair shop.
Good friendly service but didn’t resolve anything as usual. Store was running efficiently when I was there only 15 min wait .
I had a great experience today at the Apple Store Hornsby. I had an issue with my phone that was caused by myself and to their credit even though they were very busy they managed to fit me and and solve my problem at no charge. Great service and all with a friendly smile. Cheers.
I had a great experience at the Hornsby Apple store. The staff were helpful and the atmosphere was friendly. Read on for details: I had an issue with the screen of my 2016 macbook. Lovely Tim at the genius bar figured out the problem, but my laptop was out of warranty and it would have been 900 to fix it. He called me back 30 minutes later and said there was an extended warranty for my laptop, and they could fix it for free. Not only did they replace the display, but also the keyboard and battery after having some troubles with them in repair. I got my laptop back 1 day later, with everything sorted, all costing me nothing! Great job and wonderful customer service at the Hornsby store.
Apple stores certainly know how to do specialist retail. Knowledgeable staff but engaging and not pushy. The products are excellent but the price reflects the luxury experience.
