I called this shop this afternoon 07/04 between 2-3pm, for some information in regards to a gravel bike (carbon frame carbon wheels, we are talking about a 6,000 bike or more). The first person I had on the phone didn’t know what a gravel bike was. I waited over 2 minutes for him to get the info from another team-mate. The second person I had on the phone, that seemed to know her product more, luckily, literally hung the call up on me after I asked a question. Without warning. I made sure I was courteous and polite over the phone, simply asking them specific questions as I know what type of bike I’m looking for, and they hung up on me. There was no lack of connection, no misunderstanding from my side. What can I say? Professionalism: 0. Opportunity on missing a good sale: 1. Well done guys.

Visited the shop on a Saturday. I told staff I was going there to potentially buy a demo trinity the day before. Unfortunately when I got there the batteries were flat and there was some problems with one of the shifters. The blonde young guy working at the shop was really helpful and did his best to fix everything. Lucky there’s a coffee shop in the building cuz I had to wait for 5 hours all up to get away with a working bike. Overall I think I walked away with a good deal but it would’ve been nice to find the bike ready to go. I was planning to do a bike fit the same day but there was no time left. Had to take it to another shop the following day and spend a few hours there as well cleaning parts and stuff. (After hearing a rattling sound from the frame we opened it up to find a pair of tweezers left in there ) I want to thank Jessica for answering to all my questions before making the trip to the shop. I think it’s probably best to visit the shop on a less busy day of the week.
Cannot rate the team here at Giant Wollongong high enough. Tom went above and beyond to put together the most epic bike I’ve ever seen. Every part of the experience of buying a bike was straightforward and customer service was gold standard. Highly recommend!
Best service among the various bike shops on the same street. We had a need to buy a larger bike with training wheels for our 10 year old daughter and had very little luck with advice on options from their nearest competitor down the road, who were very quick to put it in the too-hard basket. The staff at Giant were amazing at assessing her needs, putting together good options, even ordering an alternate rear wheel to suit the training wheels available and getting it delivered in time for her birthday. Will be returning in the future.
What a great experience! From my initial visit right through to picking up my bike, kitting it out and then getting help to disassemble it to take on holiday. Thank you Sam for being true to your word and all the extra advice and set-up you did for me. It was SO worth the drive from Sydney!

But most of all Ben for answering my endless questions as it was difficult to choose between the medium 27.5” or the large 29” talon 1. I spoke with Ryan(I believe he is second in charge) and asked to price match a Sydney store, he laughed at me and told me to "get lost". He said "bye" and showed me the door. I ended up purchasing online from buying from 99bikes. Bought the exact same item for 200 cheaper and delivered within 3 days. Thanks mate! Won't shop there again If you have no respect for customers or little patience, stay away from customers. You're a bad image
