Stayed with the extended family, it accommodated the different combinations of couples and kids and singles perfectly. We really enjoyed the garden and went for some gorgeous walks around the falls. We plan to book in again next year, we all loved it so much! Amy was a great host and they were also very generous in re-booking us after our first booking was cancelled due to COVID - all at no extra cost. We'll always be grateful for their generosity in this, and will make it up by coming again.

This was our family's third stay at Glen Isla and we had an amazing time once again. It is the perfect place to gather all the family, including children and grandchildren, together. It never fails to impress us with the quality equipment and space in the house as well as the lovely gardens.
I arranged a girls weekend and was given the task of deciding where to stay. On the basis of a recommendation from a friend we chose Glen Isla and I'm so glad we did. The house is beautiful. The gardens are beautiful. Beds are very comfortable. We were lovely and warm despite it being absolutely freezing outside. The location is perfect - close enough to everything you want to see and do in the Blue Mountains, but not so close that you're in the middle of the busy crowds etc. We loved the house and will be coming back next year.
Amazing house. Wonderful owners. We couldn't have asked for a better place to host our group of older ladies for an annual get-together. Amy was very helpful and arranged for us to have a late checkout which was very much appreciated. The house is very well equipped and being single level (except for the loft) it suited our group who are getting on in years. The beds are very comfortable with beautiful quality linens. The garden is so beautiful we were happy just to spend time relaxing in it. We have already started arranging our stay for next year. Thank you Amy.
Great place! Tucked away on a quiet street. The house is spacious with tropical birds nesting in the trees. Very clean, well kept and such a treat. It is a 150 year old house that has great amenities and lots of character.
Had an excellent stay at this place. Had a rainy night in where we watched movies. The next day we went to the caves and had a wonderful day.
Organised a family get together for Easter. Highly recommend Glen Isla. The gracious house was private, the garden gorgeous (and perfect for Easter egg hunting and post lunch boules), the house was well equipped and in a great location for walking and climbing. Amy was warm and helpful. We plan to come back!
Beautiful old home in a gorgeous location. The house has been lovingly restored and furnished. It is set on a lovely garden and was the perfect location for a large family gathering. Highly recommended. We will be returning!
