I love the rock pooling and hopping from spot to spot like a mountain goat. Everywhere you look is something rare and magical. You can almost hear the primeval echoes of the falling giants and roaring lava; forever sealing geodes within the stone, layering secrets and stories one atop the other. Those beautiful mirrors sparkling with quiet living worlds, cupped in the rock! My kids and I lose time so easily whenever we venture on a rock pooling mission. Wear sneakers, sunscreen, hats and bring some drinking water. Remember, a rock pool is home to many, many living things- don’t take, and be careful when looking at shells some living things use these as homes for a while and may even be poisonous ️ We always find inspiration for telling stories. Here’s a pic of Yvie spinning one today...

Very windy most of the time, hard to enjoy beach, hard acces to beach, there are many better options on the island
Very difficult to get down/up countless stairs. Lots of rocks at bottom of stairs to reach the sand. Very unsteady. My youngest pup is an amputee. She managed to get down/up stairs but I was concerned about the constant instability. Was worth the effort as the beach was quiet/lovely view but be prepared for the instability.
I love this ocean beach with its high cliff and rips. It does pump under the right conditions.
Great location. Plenty of wildlife to be seen.
Beautiful beach that's never too busy!
This is a great little beach. It is much quieter than many other beaches along the island, due to its lack of surf clubs or lifesavers. There is also no restroom or services on this beach.
Beautiful beach
