I met Willie through my dog (weird yes). I have an autistic son who is hyper-mobile and has low muscle tone. He runs very awkwardly. I was told by a Podiatrist & Physio not to waste money on a running coach. When I mentioned this to Willie, he said this was rubbish. All kids can and should be helped. I drove my son from one side of Sydney to St Peters for my son to run with Willie. He pretty much hung around for my son to help him out. After a few weeks of my son complaining as to how much more time, he actually made it through the sessions by chatting with Willie and not complaining. He doesn't really like running, but he will run with Willie. Willie has been doing this to help my son and not for the money. We also bought a much cheaper pair of shoes for my son than what he had, which are loads better! I don't know what these 1 star reviews are about. Willie is a top guy who goes out of his way to help!

What a running store! I'm impressed with Willie's customer service. He is very knowledgable on all kinds of running shoes and gear. He pays attention to the customers' queries and doesn't push certain (pricier) items on them. The area behind the sales area and showroom gives you heaps of space to run around when you want to try on a shoe.

These guys really care about running and runners. Willie, the owner, is an encyclopedia of shoes. The stock is all new (they've only been open four months or so) and from a selection of proper running brands rather than just going for the fashionable labels. The team will spend the time with you making sure you get the right shoe for you and your style of running and their prices are comparable (if not cheaper) than what you find online. Looking at the reviews I am totally shocked by the single 1 star review in a host of 5 *s and I think it's probably down to somebody trying to harm a new business, they should be ashamed. Get on down, see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

What a great experience. Willie is someone who is passionate about what he does - i happen to live in the area and just randomly popped in. As someone who knows next to nothing about running, I was thoroughly taken care of. Willie explained everything really well to me and I walked out with the first pair of shoes that truly fits my weird feet properly. Cheers mate!

Not local, but received the advice I needed via phone and email, ordered product which turned up in a timely manner and all advice was spot on and very happy with my purchasing experience! Makes me wish I lived closer (but my wallet may be happier that I don't!!!)

I was quite surprised at how little knowledge staff had of their own product as well as more general issues relating to running. I feel like I was being pushed towards older and over-priced stock that they just wanted to get rid of, and it seems that the person who was ‘assisting’ me had little to no interest in my needs as a runner. I don’t mind paying a premium on a product if someone’s knowledge and expertise has led me to find the most suitable product for me. But this was not the case. They obviously have very little knowledge or appreciation of the biomechanics, or science, or any of the nuances of running. The premiums they put on their prices don’t make much sense in light of this. I also don’t mind if a business just wants to sell their goods without offering any sort of real help to their customers. That is perfectly legitimate and any such business can then also choose any price point they want. But to claim that the reason their prices are higher than most others is because of any sort of value-add they provide would be simply untrue. Being local I really did want to give them a chance and I generally always try to support local businesses. I’m left very disappointed and underwhelmed, and researching and buying online elsewhere seems the only prudent thing for me to do.

Had heard about Willie’s shop through an secret online society of triathletes and have only heard good feedback in terms of his prices and enthusiasm. Recently looking for a set of wireless headphones for a birthday gift and all online and bricks and mortar shops were showing RRP as their best price. Started chatting with Willie and he said he had stock, 30 below RRP and would post that day. WOW. Not only that, but he tried to steer me away from the more expensive model to a cheaper version that he said was barely any difference except for a few grams of weight. I don’t think I have ever had that happen in any purchasing experience ever before. I don’t live in Sydney but next time I am down I will stop by, and in the meantime I will definitely be talking to Willie for my next pair of shoes

The most knowledgeable company on running shoes I’ve come across. Fantastic experience.
