Refund express? I lodged almost 6 months ago.. super hard to get any response. Then when you do it’s usually for a response or confirmation that you’ve already given. Only reason I’m reviewing (I tend to just suck it up and move on) is because of how they have just launched their new website. All the things they mention on there I have not experienced. In fact I’ve had much better Experiences With Etax and others before. Even Etax tried harder to maximise my return.. refund express haven’t helped at all. They minimised my refund by a lot without understanding my return, on top of that (for a very basic return) are now charging me about 100 for the return.. so I would be sceptical of the 29 fee..

I've been using these guys for a few years with no issues. THIS YEAR atrocious, worst service ever, still waiting for my return 22 days later, I've messaged them with no replies, finally got in touch after calling for several days to be told all the staff had the flu and they hadn't even passed my assessment onto the ato. Life happens I understand but it goes on and they have affected me indirectly by not fulfilling there position after paying the 79 to get my return completed. They say 8 to 12 days but rarely upto 28. I call that bull and definitely not going to allow this to happen again in the future. It seems they get sick and the whole world has to stop until they are feeling better what a shame minus 5 stars

I've been locked out for too many failed login attempts and I'm now required to contact refund express. There is no number provided to call and the only way to contact refund express is by using their chat system that requires you to login. Stuck.
What a disgrace, they state to have lodged my tax return three times over three weeks however they finally let me know it was not lodged. Website also unreliable and would not let me log in for days at a time.
This is the worst online tax agent, they definitely aren't what their name states. They take 2 days to even reply to a query. They Dont send you everything you need to lodge your return then it takes another 2 days for them to reply with the relevant paperwork. They use excuses stating they process hundreds of returns per day yet you are the one that has all the info pre put into their website so they have their job cut out for them. It has now been 6 days since I have heard from refund express, I have asked the simple question has my tax return been lodged yet no matter what I have tried to receive a confirmation they still haven't responded. I have attempted 1 email, 4 online messages and 11 phone calls on 2 different contact numbers and voicemail messages in 6 days and nothing not a peep. Beyond Rediculous.
