Rude arrogant guy to deal with. My wife had a breakaway system fitted to a horse float, quoted 1200 which is a ripoff. Only needed the in car equipment as the rest was already fitted to the float. He was paid 437 up front but when the vehicle was collected he claimed no payment had been made. Had to show him the bank transfer as proof. To make matters worse the system failed twice due to shoddy workmanship and still gives problems years later. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY.

Excellent customer service and price. Found a suitable towbar for my quite rare car when other businesses couldn’t one and even provided a solution for my swivelling bike rack issue free of charge. Highly recommend these guys. A great local small business to support.

Asked Rutherford Trailers to quote me an 8x5 tandem for a Customer project for my company. Discussed what I needed and headed off. Couple of hours later I get a call to clarify some rim and tyre details and waited for the quote. I wait a day, 2 days, a week. Nothing. I rang to see what was happening and was told “ the Boss is with a customer he’ll call you back. Still waiting another week later. Great Customer Service. This would have been an easy sale for them. Oh well, went elsewhere. I wouldn’t rate them with even 1 star but it’s the only way I can leave another disappointing comment about these guys.

10k tipper trailer, toolbox leaks water, dual axle electric brakes not correctly adjusted, 7pin plug cheap loose and poorly terminated, drop sides and tail gate difficult latches, table top not straight because of fabrication method used on tray. cage hard to fit and remove. main things does work as a trailer. disappointed overall.
