One of the busiest North shore line stations yet poor cousin on train frequency. Possible lift still under a cloud

The station is perfect if you don't need an elevator or you don't have kids or health conditions. You have to go uphill long stairs then down hill long stairs to exit the station . I had a suitcase and it was hard to lift it up and down. The station staff was nice and offered to help me but still struggle to get the suitcase up & down.

Pymble station, in the heart of the North Shore, is a quiet station with no accessibility access. Access to the station is already hard enough as the Pacific Highway alongside is chronically congested with vehicles. To fix this, TfNSW needs to create incentives to use public transport. One incentive for specific user groups is by installing lifts to make this station accessible. This would significantly improve the lives of many as wheelchair users, parents with small children and people with luggage or shopping can have an easier experience using the train network.

An easy train station to navigate and there was no hassle finding parking at 4:00pm. The only let down is the fact you can not get an Opal card from the station; only the single trip tickets. A better alternative to choosing Chatswood, which is busy and requires a lot of fiddling to get to the platform you need.

I had the pleasure to visit this station on Friday 11/08/2017. The gentleman I spoke to was called Harry he was so helpful looking up the place I had to go to and couldn't do enough to make sure I heading in the right direction, if this is any indication of the staff who work for N.S.W. transport your state has a a winning team.I was only in N.S.W. for the day so once again congratulations for such great service "HARRY".
