Very nice hostel! Pretty new ( I guess) and very clean! good kitchen and bathrooms. With an outdoor bbq area and pool. Laundry is 4, dryer 1 (10min). It’s a bit far from town, but they do have pizzas. And there’s a brewery in walking distance, where you can taste beer and have lunch/dinner. Only issue for me was that there’s no heating in the room and it was quite cold on the shadow side of the building.

Here you have clean, comfortable, modern accommodation with excellent amenities including a spacious commercial grade kitchen and living dining area, outdoor BBQ and pizza kitchen, hammocks and a swimming pool, all for a fraction of the cost of other accommodations in the area. The location is second to none in the middle of the world class Hunter Valley wine region with vineyards at your doorstep.

Location is great for exploring wine country by car. The property is beautiful and well looked after with lots of common areas to hang out, eat and enjoy a bottle or 2 with friends. Beds are very comfy, the hostel has everything you could need and more. Great to see everything looking so green and lush after the rain too!
Peaceful place to go to and has as grill for your own cooking!
POSITIVES: A very friendly and informative welcome from the manager. Good location, close to vineyards and pubs/eateries. Well facilitated and good value for money. NEGATIVES: Hire bikes were a bit of a disaster and not kept in best nick. 1 of which was totally un-ridable (broken bottom bracket causing gears to slip all over the place and chain forever getting jammed) which proved an absolute nightmare on our ride out in 37 degree heat. No offer of apology for this from manager, let alone a refund, which I'd quite reasonably expected after a long day getting my hands covered in oil, untangling the chain from the derailures. Soo hot in the bedrooms when the temps outside get into the 30's.
