My husband and I had seen Nicola in action at a previous wedding and new then and there that we wanted her to be a part of our special day. Nicola is an absolute class act! Her attention to detail and the time that she devotes to her couples is just so amazing. She supported us throughout the whole process, from ceremony planning, all the required paperwork, right up to making sure our day was just so perfect. We cannot recommend Nicola highly enough! She is super-organised, thinks of all the small things you might not have thought of, explains the whole process (ceremony and legal paperwork etc.), is a complete professional, and above all is such a great woman to work with! We didn’t realise to start with how important it is to have a great working relationship with your celebrant and trust them to run the most important part of your wedding day. But now we know that, our ceremony wouldn’t have been the same without Nicola! We found Nicola through a word of mouth referral from our photographer who had worked with her many times in the past. From our first meeting, we knew there was no one else and that she was for us. We were married almost 12 months ago and still have wedding guests commenting how warm, welcoming and genuine Nicola was throughout our ceremony. If you have guests who never cry at weddings, that will change! The reason we have waited so long to write our recommendation is that we simply could not settle on the words to describe how amazing it was to have Nicola by our side through this special time in our lives, she was simply perfect! Nicola worked with some challenging physical layouts, a temperature of 3, timings and unique requests from us with ease and added special touches on the day from her wealth of experience, which really brought the ceremony to life. We were very fortunate to have Nicola as our marriage celebrant. She went through the whole process with us and refined her script as we went along. We were given extensive options and she made sure we were comfortable with every single sentence in the script. We also had a rehearsal which massively calmed our nerves and prepared us for the big day! During the ceremony she was very confident, professional and calm. Its been an absolute pleasure having Nicola to officiate our marriage and we are forever grateful for all she did for us.
