Define have been my property agents for many years. The team are very professional and all the work the team have done to secure good tenants, keep me updated on maintenance issues and in their communications are spot on. I don’t live at the Sunshine Coast so their regular inspections and updates are much appreciated.
Everytime i have gone into the office everyone has always been most helpful and i have felt under no pressure.. I went into the office today coz needed help about something and once again right from the lovely smiley greeting i always get from Cheryl and then seeing Petrina about my dilemma who was a great to me and discussing other ongoing issues and always with a positive attitude and smile and i ended up must satisfied and having a laugh..great girls...
Incredible incompetence and appalling money hungry actions. During the pandemic (where half of us were on jobseeker and lost our jobs) the owner and his wife were nice enough to agree to a rent reduction for a 3 month period. My partner and the owner are in the construction industry together, and have a great working relationship. Upon ending the lease in NOV we find they never acknowledged or applied the rental reduction and were holding our bond as hostage to pay the money !! They completely tried to undermine and override a private agreement made between the owner and tenant... we have no idea why. Their only defence was us not responding to one email that I personally did not receive. Rather than admitting innocent fault and resolving the issue together, they fought tooth and nail for us to pay the money... When we notified the owner he was just as surprised as us and literally said it was not coming from him. The owner had to call the property manager TWICE to tell them to give all our bond back, how embarrassing for them! They stole money from us during the pandemic and at NO POINT told us this was happening (after countless phone calls and office visits regarding the reduction) until WE picked up on it when ending the lease in November. They still got away with over 700 of overpaid rent during the pandemic, which we did not pursue out of respect for the owner. We have now bought our own house and would never ever use or advise anyone to use define. We would have emailed our discontent privately, but having dealt with them we know it would have fallen on deaf ears.
The team at Define Property made our transition into our new home very easy. These wonderful Agents are very professional, helpful and responsive to any requests.
Petrina is fast, efficient and professional in all of our dealings with our rental property.
