Great location for a budget holiday apartment, It's not 5 star but for 105.00 a night it was pretty good value. The furnishings are extremely simple and probably a little out dated but that's simply me being picky. The kitchen had all the basic cookware. The bedrooms were big but the beds themselves are old and worn, also the bedding was old. There is a washing machine and dryer in unit. The overall cleaning of the unit as I walked in was not very good I would only give it a 2 out of 5, but once I had given it a clean myself it wasn't too bad. The management where friendly, but as the complex rent outs units there were a few colourful characters that reside within. To sum up the Bellardoo apartments out of stars. I booked a superior apartment with a spa but somehow the online booking system directed me to the not so superior apartment instead. Apparently I fell for it because it was clearly defined in the fine print of the booking confirmation. Yes after payment was processed. I also put in a special request about an extra parking bay. Never heard anything back. But before that when I arrived the managers were on lunch and left a envelope with my key and some directions. I was already confused because I got into the car park and could not find my space. It was such a tiny parking area I was lucky to get out (4x4). The place is a maze with no lifts or clear direction to the apartment. Finally when I got there and realised to my horror it was not what I thought was booked. Contacted the manager to say this was not the apartment I booked only to be told I got it wrong. Too late to do anything about this I turned on the TV and of course it did not work. Waited for someone to fix it.

Not good. No WiFi at all as advertised. Beds like rocks. Hot water in shower runs out after 5 minutes...note.. this is a 4 person unit. Hair dryer conked out..started to smell like it was about to catch fire. Light above mirror in only bathroom not working. Only other light was a very low wattage bulb...very dark little space. Manager tried to fix it without success...declined to get an electrician...said owners (who are electricians) would fix it next week. Cheap and nasty.

Good location. Good clean rooms at a budget price. Friendly staff. Close to everything you need. If you want a Mooloolaba holiday that does not break the bank, you should consider staying here.

Very poor performance the owner of this place should get out of the gig or get some customer service skills if he insists on putting himself at the front desk... It was the alike to trying to get through customs at the international where he couldnt deal with the fact that his guest was getting frustrated. This guy really has no clue how to handle a reception desk! He was prompting all of the problems while i had to feed him the solutions - dude im paying you & i am tired how about you sort it out and let your guests rest easy... If you want professionalism and decent efficient service book somewhere other than this place!

Place is nice and renovated inside. Not suitable for elderly and parents with children as no lifts had to cart up everything 2 flights of stairs. No extra bin bags and no shampoo and conditioner and other toiletries. Just soap. No TV in bed rooms or at least main bedroom. 10 min walk to main street esplanade. Some things broken like blinds and no blinds On windows feels like people watching from other apartments. We stayed 3 nights and only offered half a toilet roll and was told to buy from Coles a block away if run out. Made to walk rubbish out to street bins otherwise a 50 fine in credit card. No pool towels offers but can't take white towels. Had to mop the balcony when we first got here was flooded. Not sure it's worth what we paid.

Bellardoo is the worst place we have ever stayed in! Mark and Jenny Fenton are the most unhospitable owners. We booked an airconditioned 2 bedroom unit only to find the aircon with a sign on it saying "this air-conditioning unit is not opperational". There were no flyscreens on the windows or doors and the bed was very uncomfortable! We also asked when booking if it was ok to have visitors over during our stay which they said would be fine and told us to give them the gate code. On our first day however we had a few visitors and recieved a knock on the door by Mark who rudely told us that they have been watching us (for no apparent reason) and noticed we had had a few visitors over and said that "he will be montoring the situation". We felt our privacy had been invaded as we were there to relax/catch up with people and that we simply got ripped off with the amount of money we paid. Recommendation: DO NOT STAY HERE...SPEND YOUR MONEY BETTER ELSEWHERE!
