As a 45yo women when I met a young lady, there called skye I thought what do you know about life your so much younger than me. But I was so wrong , skye was sympathetic to my thoughts, feelings, and didn't just nod her head and pretend to listen to me but she really heard me and helped me reach the goals I had set out to achieve but just couldn't reach them alone ...im so very grateful for Skye coming into my life when I had really hit my lowest

Infantilising. Young people are not incapable. If they are seeking help by their own will, it is a sign of emotional maturity. Speak to them with the assumption that they are tough. Otherwise they wouldn't be seeing you in the first place! Treat people like they're weak and they become reliant on others for the rest of their life. Self actualisation should be the ultimate goal.

unprofessional, arrogant in a way that should never be associated in mental health & just honestly pathetic. This place is the opposite of servicing mental health, and that's so unfortunate. People deserve better, and the bad service need to do better and fix the issue.

The staff should be ashamed of themselves....only if they were truly aware themselves.

After a suicide attempt it took them almost a week to get in contact with me and another week to see me. In a month I saw them twice, both home visits, where i had to repeat each time my condition because they seemingly forgot to take notes. It's a revolving door of staff who pass you onto the next person. The last visit i had i was basically told that i was no longer sick enough to get their help and that if i need "acute" help again, aka i try to kill myself again, then they would be able to help me. So basically it was a complete waste of time. I wouldn't recommend them at all if you are suicidal or very depressed, you're better off either seeing your GP and going from there or admitting yourself as a voluntary patient into hospital.

By far, the worst service I have ever received. When I went in for my injection in 2016, the nurses were laughing and made jokes about me, in front of me, to eachother, and made sure they were rough with the procedure. The psychiatrists were one of the worst, if not the worst, I could ever deal with. One of them as falling asleep while I was talking. No treatment whatsoever, for ADHD. I was put on a community treatment order, for no reason. I was homeless and troubled at the time, but received real treatment elsewhere, with private healthcare. I now work full time and am paying off my own mortgage and am very content and extremely functional. Do not go here, and "run for the hills" if you are sent here, or are thinking about going here They genuinely, honestly, truthfully, DO NOT CARE about you. Save your money, wait the 2 month waiting period, and get "Private Healthcare".
