Completely disappointed and upset to the extent I am in fear of seeing another doctor. I was verbally abused by Dr. Obi over the phone while at a very low ebb in my health and most vulnerable. And, for a situation Dr. Obi said he understood and expressed empathy for. I was also verbally abused for following his medical advice. The call was recorded under the Surveillance Act Victoria. Dr. Obi became angry at referral requests, one of which is still outstanding. My friend who overheard the conversation that was on loudspeaker was horrified. An email addressing my concerns has been completely ignored.
My name is Amy Bellars. Dr Obi misdiagnosed my husband Stage 4 brain cancer to be migraine and prescribed migraine medicine and sent my husband home. Not once, not twice but three times. He doesn't take patient's complaints seriously. We then found a good doctor from Tristar and we changed our GP. We did inform him of the change. In Nov 2020, his wife called one morning and Dr Obi billed us 3 times under medicare. He probably did not expect us to check. When I asked him about the three charges, he challenged me to take it up with medicare. Dr Obi can rest assured that I will take it up for the billing. If I could give him a negative, I will. 3 weeks after I had written this review, Dr Obi and his wife went to talk to my husband about it. They were not happy with the review. Not very professional for a doctor. As said, I will act as what Dr Obi has suggested, go to medicare to complain. Folks, always check your medicare billing.
Friendly and efficient staff, with an very high level of care. Dr Obi is the best Doctor. Thank you for the wonderful level of care.
Dr Obi was very rude to me and my partner. His treated me like I was not there. He spoke over me and it was obvious that his culture and his attitude towards woman is low. He was very nasty is his approach to us and was very racist against white people. Will never attend again to be treated so poorly. Not a nice man and very bad attitude. Should not be allowed to practice in Australia with such hatred towards Australian people. I left the medical Centre in tears and will never forget the experience. Doctors should be kind, understanding and show empathy. Dr Obi has none of these traits and I would not trust him with my family's heath issues or in general. Even an African women there asked me if I felt ok going into see him alone or would I want someone in with me. Very odd question to ask a middle aged women in Australia. Please be careful attending this clinic with this Dr.

Disappointed and disgusted is un undersatatment!!! My disabled sister went for an asthma plan and was forced to have a Pap smear and has left the practice bleeding heavily! She was instructed to walk around to stop the bleeding? And if it hasn’t stopped tomorrow to see the hospital!!! What in gods name is going on?
