Fantastic place in the middle of the blue mountains. Loved the cottage we stayed in and all the mod cons we needed for our weekend away. Our room had a spar bath that was a nice surprise. They also provide a daily breakfast which was nice. Would happily visit again.

Great weekend at Rustic Spirit. Pure relaxation, the breakfast was a highlight and so fresh. Lovely to wake up to the sound of wildlife. We brought our dog and enjoyed the wood burner and spa bath. We had a bit of trouble getting the oven started which was our own fault but it was very much appreciated when Marianne came out late in the evening to help us get it going. We will be back!
Our stay was everything we had expected. Each self contained cottage overlooks bush land with a very relaxing homely feel. Sitting by the fire enjoying the noises of the bush was the perfect escape from Sydney. Marianne and Adrian are wonderful hosts. Friendly, relaxed and welcoming they make you feel at home whilst also giving you the space and seclusion to enjoy the cottage in privacy.
Rustic spirit is a great little oasis if you are looking for a break from the city. The cabins are beautiful and we'll equipped. You can see trees out every window. The cabins have no wifi or reception so you are really in your own little world. We brought our own food as there isn't a whole lot in the immediate area in the way of food options. Though you can organise to have breakfast and dinner provided by the friendly hosts for an additional cost. The guest house where they serve food is beautiful but really I was quite happy feasting on a cheese platter for dinner in my beautiful cabin. But if you eat at the guest house you get to see Honey the resident dog. Honey is a very sweet dog and is always up for a pat. The cabin had a fireplace and a spa bath. The bed was big and comfortable. It even had an electric blanket. I would love to go back for another holiday. Bring a book and relax in front of the fire or on the beautiful balcony.
My favourite place on the mountain. Every time we visit we are greeted with such genuine warmth, and nothing we ever ask is too much trouble. The cabins are well equipped with a fireplace and spa bath, plus everything you need for a relaxing weekend away from the city. Home cooking in the main guesthouse is simple and delicious, it's such a treat to be served a meal made with local produce and served with a smile. Marianne is such a great host. Can't wait to return!
Absolutely outstanding, best stay we've had in the mountains to date. The cabins are beautifully set with veranda's that look out across an amazing tree canopy, perfect spot to relax and have a glass of wine before retreating inside to sit by the fire, or have a spa bath. Marianne was a fantastic host and took care of our every need. Until next time!
Wonderful! Rooms we're huge, lots of space to cook and relax inside/outside. We took a dog and he also had a great time playing with the owners dog Honey. Breakfast had a really good selection and was very filling, we didn't have dinner but again the selection was great. Our cabin was very private and secluded even though it was very close to the main building (50 meters away) so Wifi wasn't available, which to be honest made the holiday (no phones). There we're plenty of DVD's available and a lovely log fire to keep us busy in the evening. The log fire could warm the whole room but there was heating if it got a little cold 1st thing in the morning. Overall experience was a great one and would go back again without hesitation.
