Melross Farm is an unbelievably breath taking venue. If you're looking for romantic rustic charm this is the place for you. Not only are the sweeping views of the majestic escarpments stunning, but the overall feel of the venue with the small vineyard, paddocks and livestock is just beautiful and wonderfully serene. The owner of the property Terrene is incredibly helpful and very easy to deal with. No question went unanswered and everything we needed was either already there or offered to be supplied. Over our wedding weekend we experienced all types of weather and the escarpment was just stunning, even with moody rain clouds and especially with the pink hues of a gorgeous sunset. I thoroughly recommend this wonderful venue, we'll have amazing memories to last a life time thanks to Melross!

Our weekend getting married at Melross was simply the best weekend of our lives. Everything about this venue is designed to make the whole weekend a special experience - we can't recommend it enough. The owners John and Terrene are wonderful - and went above and beyond to ensure it was the perfect venue for us. They were willing to hear our thoughts and requests and did everything they could to ensure the day went off as hoped. The property is like a storybook, and our guests were blown away. The extra properties on the land are both beautiful in their own right and the 3 day stay made the wedding feel like an event, rather than just a day. And we were able to style the barn exactly as we'd hoped. We recommend using the Melross suggested caterers and services - firstly, they are brilliant, and it just makes it all so easy. Thank you again to John & Terrene for having us - it was the perfect venue to create our perfect wedding.
Melrose is a beautiful property and the perfect t place for a winter get away
A truly spectacular part of the world my now wife and I had our wedding here recently. My family stayed in the two beautifully appointed country houses and our ceremony and reception were in the barn. The estate gives you 4 days and 3 nights when you book your wedding which is unheard of elsewhere and an absolute lifesaver. The surrounding scenery is utterly breathtaking, the hosts John and Terrene are consummate professionals and incredibly warm and engaging people. Nothing was too much trouble and they even gave me a jump start the following morning with a broken down vehicle! Terren has decorated the barn with an eclectic and tasteful collection of rustic pieces. The equipment that comes with the barn is comprehensive and there are some neat additional items available for hire. The estate was a place of joyous celebration and beautiful memories and will always hold a dear place on our hearts. It is really something more than a farm or a wedding venue, its hard to describe. Visit and see for yourself. It feels like a slice of the world that has been blessed with a beautiful energy and has two warm, engaging and kind custodians looking after it. Their son Lyndon cared for us on the big night and the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree. Between the three of them we were cared for with a real family spirit that was never intrusive or anything other than helpful and calm at a stressful time. If it was possible to award more than 5 stars I would and judging by others feedback I am not alone. Stay here for a weekend away, have your wedding here or just take some time out from the rest of the world - you wont be disappointed.
This is just one stunning wedding venue, every guest will enjoy the back drop of the Kangaroo Valley escarpment! The photography at Elise and Jono’s wedding said ‘that’s gotta be one of the best backdrops I’ve ever had’!!
Fantastic place, serene surroundings and just a straight out comfortable place to stay. There is nothing to fault about the Melross & Willows Estate.
