Popped in to seek advice regarding a letter I had received from my overseas branch. Whilst not a standard query, the staff did their best to assist and provide advice. I felt the customer service was exemplary - not something I would normally say about HSBC. A small branch office and we were the only customers early afternoon. Sited on a pedestrian mall, so no direct access if you are driving.

The environment is good, but the employee was very unfriendly and unreasonable at this branch. Hope that hsbc employee could learn to treat people equally. It was a very bad experience.
Great bank! The staff at the Barangaroo branch are extremely helpful and knowledgable of their products. I have recently started banking with them and found their responsiveness and assistance a pleasure to deal with.
1 star for no reason. Very very rude employees.
Easily the best bank in Australia. Makes even more sense if you bank, like, anywhere else in the world, where none of the Australian major banks dare to even try and compete.
