The time spent on the houseboat was enjoyable however the communication from the staff was very poor. We did not receive our bond back for over 3 weeks and received no communication during this time. I had to chase up several times and kept being told that the person I needed to talk to wasn't in the office and to call another day. Finally I was able to get back some of the bond but a large deduction was made. This deduction was not mentioned to us, just mysteriously absent from the returned bond. When I tried to ask questions about this through emails they just stopped replying and ignored me. Such a shame that the experience turned sour as the boat was very good quality. I am also quite shocked to see how many reviews the company is trying to remove. *update, I would not recommend that anyone use this company as their response is absolutely false. There was no communication as to what the deduction was for and there were many emails that were ignored by fantaseas. Very poor service, and an absolute shame as the boat was nice. We have had much better service from other houseboat companies.

Great weekend away, great concept. The major downside with the trip was the ladder to get back onto the boat. It wasn't long enough to get back onto the easily, so spent most of the weekend in the boat instead of the water. Only one rung into the water wasn't simply enough. Only 1 person of our group of 8 was capable of getting back aboard.....

Hired a house boat for four days, had a wonderful time. The Fantaseas owner's and staff are wonderful to deal with and can't do enough to make you enjoy your house boat holiday enjoyable. I would recommend Fantasy House boats to any one.
