Brilliant experience, highly recommend. Staff is friendly, boats were clean and fully functional. We found difficulty anchoring, but we only tried once and I’m sure we would get better with practice. Overall a great relaxing experience, certainly be re-visiting sometime soon!

Spent 3 fun days on an 8 berth boat with another couple. Our boat was a little dated but served the purpose. Beautiful waterways around the Hawkesbury, especially Refuge Bay. Definitely will use this business again.

Everyone we spoke to at Holidays Afloat were so lovely and helpful from booking, to pre-departure, to boarding... everything was so easy and we enjoyed every moment! Great friendly staff. Great communication. Really helped us on our holiday especially with us being noobs at boating and fishing. They explained explained everything well. There was a gated parking lot for our two cars. The boat we had was the 47 elite. It was great! Plenty of room for the 9 of us on a 12 berth. The boat is getting on a bit but still very comfortable. Has fridge and oven. No air-con onboard so super hot summer days with no wind can be tough, so make sure you get plenty of ice. Overall, we all had a blast.
Great place, lovely staff, very good service. We had a fantastic weekend in one of their Islander houseboats. Highly recommended.

It is always great fun to hire a house boat on the Hawkesbury for a few days. My wife and I truly love it and over the last 40 years, or so, we have done it about 25 times, maybe more. We have hired boats from everyone at Brooklyn and clippers from Akuna Bay years ago. Nothing different this time. The staff at Holidays Afloat were friendly and helpful and very efficient at what they do. The boat was (mostly) clean and tidy and a perfect size for the two of us. The missing star? There were some minor cleanliness issues including a case of mould in the dish rack. Otherwise the boat needed some TLC on the inside. Nothing major, just lots of little things; like cracked trim and exposed nails where everyone (me included) had banged their head on the ceiling when ascending the stairs to the lounge area. As I said, nothing major and certainly not enough to put a dampener on our holiday.
We have a fabulous 6 nights on the Lady Hawkesbury (47' Homecruiser). She was in excellent condition and with two families she was a perfect size. The team at Holidays Afloat are second to none. Steve, Karen, Daz, Waz and all the team looked after us with professionalism and good humour. With such a big boat we were all concerned she might be a bit of a handful but that wasn't the case at all - she was a pleasure to skipper and before we left the dock we felt well prepared by the team. Couldn't recommend the entire experience more!!! Thanks team!!!
