Great spot to camp out for a night or two with plenty about to explore. Rare to see coal naturally occurring on the surface, as well as easy to find fossilized bones in rock formations. Wildflower season can be spectacular here too. Well worth a stop.

Excellent, we went late spring which was early school holidays, plenty of yellow and purple flowers unfortunately no pink left. Then is camp grounds and picnic areas with BBQs.

Great photo opportunities of the land and the gradients in the soil, also a fantastic place to find wildflowers.

Excellent place to explore the natural land with its many lookout points and especially when it's wildflower season the scenery is just so picturesque.

If you’re around between July and November you have to make the journey inland to Coalseam Conservation Park, which is famed for its wildflowers. Come springtime, hakeas, banksias, everlastings and grevilleas produce a riot of colour for share-worthy pics or just a blissful walk. As the name suggests, this space has interesting geology, as the site of Western Australia’s first mined coalseam. Exposed bands of coal can still be spotted on the ground, along with accompanying strata of siltstone, sandstone and claystone that pattern the cliff-faces. There are dramatic views across the Irwin River from the Irwin Lookout, and bountiful wildlife, from kangaroos to echidnas, emus, cockatoos and eagles.

It was magical and amazing. Please come early especially during wildflower season. The camping site was packed! If its full, try Breakaway or Mingenew Caravan Park. Bear in mind whoever wants to drive with family car. The road surface to Miners camper is bumpy because every now and then heavy vehicle will rumbled over the road.
