Air conditioning was too cold. Seats were wooden with no padding and very uncomfortable. At least Alf of the attendees stood up for part of the function. A short walk out doors to the facilities, lucky it wasn't raining. Food was ordinary and same offerings over 2 days.
It’s been almost a month since our wedding & have realized we have not provided Vic Park with our review. Everyone needs to know how absolutely amazing the team are at Vic Park & there is nothing we can fault with their service (from the planning to how our wedding ran on our special day)! We first have to mention that Vic Park was not our original venue choice for our wedding. We had a falling out with our original venue (FOUR WEEKS OUT OF OUR WEDDING!!!) & I contacted Vic Park to see if they could accommodate our wedding, at such short notice. To our absolute surprise & pleasure, they could (they moved a function that was booked in the same room as our reception on our wedding day to accommodate us!!!) & the planning we did in the short 4 weeks leading up to our day, was pretty seamless. The girls are amazing & the GM was also very involved in our planning, which was such a nice touch! He served us our tasting meals & was there on our day to wish us the best. Such a lovely gesture & we really appreciated this. They are such a nice team to deal with that the change in venue for us was a blessing in disguise - we cannot believe what had happened but how well things panned out for us in the end & how happy we were to have our wedding there! You will not regret having your function at Vic Park!
