Cesar and his team will sort you out in a way or another. I don't know the why of many negative comments; For Christmas time he gave a free barbecue for the whole hostel and he come with his family and gave everyone sweets. Before I left the hostel got crowded and I had still four different option of work. If you want to do your farm work, that's the right place !!

They sent us to a room Full of bed bugs And they evicted us from there because we refuse to Sleep there. Backpackers here are good. The problem is Cesar and his wife. Also everybody already left the hostel because of them. People here break the rules, sell drugs but they evicted us because of the bedbugs. No common sense. Dont come here.
Cesar and Mike found myself and my girlfriend work within a week of staying at the hostel. Great place to complete your days and find work. People staying at the hostel were welcoming and friendly. Would recommend if you are trying to complete your days in Griffith.
We spent 3 month in the Original Backpackers, finished our 88 days quickly, met nice people, made friends and nice experience. Thanks Cesar, Mike and the wonderful staff for the time!
My time at Original Backpackers was great. When you first arrive Cesar and Mike get you settled and start asking important questions in regards to your experience, as you're there to work and finish your farm days. I had a job within a few days and kept it until the end of my days. I had a an incredible time meeting so many great people. Thanks for the experience.
Got me work which I did not end up getting paid for and he refused to chase it up for me, living conditions were harsh and treated like school children
It was a wonderful time in Griffith and in this Hostel. So many nice people s and staff members. And good experience what we earned here.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 week and would recommend it to any other back packers. Especially those of you that need to complete your days for a 2nd visa. Cesar and Mike help you find work very quickly and are very organised with transport etc. Rooms are simple but all you need while here. Air con was a great bonus! This is a lovely hostel and everyone we have met have been very friendly. Definitely will stay again when we come back to Griffith.
