Date: 20/3/21 Weather: Overcast Visit: Friendly Game Field: Sand based field Visited the grounds for a friendly game on a cool overcast Saturday. The venue is COVID safe - upon entering the gate you’re greeted by a nice hand sanitiser station and the dug outs are equipped with hooks for your bag. There’s also grandstand seating for those spectating. The field is quite fast and being sand based feels firm on your feet compared to waterbased astroturf. The turf is quite firm so jinks and 3D skills aren’t as effective but it is great for push passes, slaps, hits and Tomas. A great venue and a field that lots of fun to play on.

Great place to play Hockey. Very enthusiastic local league. The bottom pitch could do with a few repairs but generally good astroturf pitches.
Covid safety enforced which is great to see.
An alright hockey centre in Orange. Decent enough shelter for cold winter days and rain. Is situated on a hill with one hockey field lower down and the other higher. You will get wet if its raining and you need to go to the bottom field. Wear wet weather gear and warm up!!
