We contacted Floors by Powell by email just before Christmas so we expected not to hear from them until 20th of January as they stated on their website. However they still didn't respond to another follow up email after the 24th January,s we called them. One of the lead floor specialists came and said the company could do the floor and said they would email us a quote in a few days. I waited five days then called their office, and they said they would chase up the quote. I waited another week, still nothing. A second phone call and they said they'd chase up the quote again, and now two months later still nothing. So we've gone with somebody else who bothered to give us a quote and actually communicate with us. Not impressed.
Doug, Kiah and the team at Floors by Powell are truly outstanding. The finished floor is stunning, and their customer service is exceptional. I renovated a place for sale, and the floor, thanks to Floors by Powell, is the centrepiece of the renovations. The reaction from people when they see the floor is 'wow!'. I was told by more than one person when I was looking for the work to be done that Floors by Powell are the best in Canberra, and that is certainly the case. I am truly grateful to Doug and Kiah for all they've done for me. I highly recommend them.
