Earlier this year, while visiting the ACT, I phoned the Fyshwick Choices store, on the off chance they might have some flooring stock that I was trying to source. It was a discontinued line that I wanted to use to match flooring already installed in the rest of our house. Everywhere else I had tried was a dead end. I spoke with San, who took on my enquiry with much appreciated interest and enthusiasm. He put a call out to other Choices stores and managed to track down some available stock, lying idle in a Sydney warehouse. Amazingly, just the right amount, down to the last board. There was nothing really in it for San or the Fyshwick store to follow up my inquiry, but his willingness to help anyway, along with his courtesy and friendly approach, certainly enhanced the reputation of Choices Flooring for us.

From our first visit to their fantastic showroom, right through to our completed beautiful new carpet and floorboards, every single member of the team was very knowledgeable about their products and extremely helpful along the way. The adhesive on our terracotta tiled floor (about 52 m2) was failing and the tiles were starting to lift. As the floor was about 30 years old there was no chance of finding matching tiles to repair the floor so the only option was to install a new floor. We sought the advice of quite a few “experts” and did comprehensive research on the internet. We finally decided vinyl planking was the way to go so we went to a few places in Fyshwick to arrange quotes. One of those places was Choices Flooring. We were greeted by Kevin (The Boss) and were immediately impressed with the way he explained the pros and cons of the various options available in a clear unembellished way. We arranged for Kevin to prepare a quote, as we did with some other suppliers. It was significant for us that Choices was the only one who made a follow up contact about a week after getting the quote to see how we were getting on. We decided to engage Choices and went back to their store to pick up some samples. That is when we met Kalem and San. They were both very personable and friendly and made picking out samples a pleasure. San even carried 9 planks, which are quite heavy, to our car which was parked some distance away. Could not have wished to meet a finer pair of young men. We had the floor installed in November 2000 by Nathan and Jarrod who also were excellent ambassadors for Choices Flooring. They worked very hard to demolish the old floor and did a truly superb job of installing the Luxury Vinyl Planking. Kevin, Kalem and San all inspected the finished job to ensure everything was satisfactory. The job was perfect in every way and having now had the benefit of our new floor for over two months we have no hesitation in recommending Kevin and his Team at Choices Flooring, Fyshwick.
Friendly team of staff with loads of knowledge to help. Thank you for our new carpet installation and hard floors, our house is now a home. We walked into the shop for assistance and left with samples and the all the info we needed. Ordering, install, quality and the whole process was smooth and everything explained.
