Absolutely terrible experience! My wife and I came in for a standard 'Tax Return with Investment Property' and the accountant majorly screwed up the Investment Property section which was blamed on a "computer glitch". Basically, had I not reviewed the Tax Summary in detail and identify the incorrect items (fixing the tax accountant's mistakes) it would have cost me thousands of dollars in my calculated return. Already not confident with their work, over the course of a few weeks following perceived lodgement I placed multiple calls to the office with promises of a return phone call but surprise surprise there was none. I eventually got my return after a 3-4 weeks (my wife got hers within 2 weeks) and I promised myself I'd put out this review in hope that it saves at least one person from having to go through a similar saga. **Response to Owner - PM me your contact details please.
I wish I could give this place a one star ! NEVER AGAIN will i have my tax return done by H&R Block absolute joke they havent even lodged my claim over 2 weeks ! Blaming it on a compute glitch for over 2 weeks ?????? DONT BOTHER GOING HERE A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY !
ONCE AGAIN I WENT TO SEE JOE! Why why why!!! So SLOW NEVER AGAIN will i have my tax return done by H&R Block absolute joke they havent even lodged my claim over a week and 1 day later! After checking on the ATO website i decided to call them and be told three different dates that my tax will be lodged and something about their ridiculous system on sending bags every second day to another branch to double check is the most absurd comments i have ever heard! after numerous calls to their head office and sending emails they still havent lodged my claim over a week later! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
