Took 2 boats out in February, River Tonic and Murray Sunset. Boats presented beautifully, clean and fresh, everything you need in the kitchen, great wine glasses (very important) and the service friendly and efficient. Can not recommend highly enough.

Like many families, our interstate holiday plans were put on hold over the Christmas period. Instead we rented a houseboat and had a wonderful time. It is not something I would have previously thought of doing, but our families really enjoyed it. I'd definitely recommend it. Thanks!
Fantastic 3 nights, needed a bit more practice driving the houseboat, clean & sparkling, beds needed more padding, loved the hot tub on the top deck.
The trip was so relaxing. The boat was comfortable. Staff helpful in loading and unloading.
We had four days with four adults and two small childrne on the river in early winter . What an unforgetful experience. Great service as well.
This was a first for us and a birthday surprise for my husband ;) It was such a lovely experience. Everything was perfect. The boat, Brittania, was just lovely. If there was one fault, it would not be due to the houseboats themselves because I'm sure nothing can be done about it... we did not feel comfortable having to clean ourselves (shower) in river water. Don't know why that felt wrong... maybe knowing there must be dead animal and possible viral contaminants in the river and the thought of showering in them put us off. It is something I had never thought of and would potentially be a decider next time we try houseboating. Don't ask me how we stayed clean for 4 nights. It wasn't easy! Apart from that, the experience and the service was extraordinary from our first contact to our final goodbyes. Thank you so much Murray River Houseboats! (Thanks especially to Julie who stayed in touch with me for months through the risk of cancellation due to the pandemic. Julie was amazing and very supportive!)
Great boat, well maintained. Well equipped and so much room. There were 5 families and still felt like there was room to move around and find quiet areas. The top deck on the Decadence is just spectacular. Julie and Ken have done and amazing job. So many people say "looked great l always wanted to do it" - Don't hesitate, just do it. We look forward to coming back.
We had another great holiday on the Mayflower with murray river houseboats. Ken and Julie were great throughout the booking, particularly with the flexibility shown due to Covid restrictions. As always, the houseboat was in great shape, check-in/out really efficient and the river itself beautiful. We will of course be back again.
