Very modern Kmart that is visually appealing. A nice touch having a heap of new self service check outs which ensure queues never get to long. LEGO section could be improved upon as there were many sets unavailable or ‘out of stock’. Staff on the door were very friendly offering me a warm smile and nod.
I went to pick up a number of things on New Year’s Day. The first thing I noticed was how friendly and actually joyful the gentleman at the entrance was. I had a number of interactions with various staff, 5 in total, including those at the service desk, as I had to return things, and then items that were meant to be in stock according to the online system were not. Staff, regardless of age, were exceptionally helpful, extremely polite, positive, had exceptional interpersonal skills and went out of their way to be helpful - I can’t remember the last time I had such incredible customer service in a retail outlet in Australia or outside of Australia! A big congratulations to the management there! I then went on to Kmart Belmont - and it was back to the ‘I’m just here for the money’ feel....
Aisles are too close together and too high, made me feel claustrophobic so I left without making a purchase. My local has a better layout.
Decent offers. Got most of the products I want. I'm like legit kmart obsessed
Veerry long store, if they are thinking of having more customers I would suggest making it less long and more square (in its shape). Very nice pillows, I still use them today and I bought them in 1994!
I cannot express in words how positive my experience was at this location. The two staff members I encountered during my brief 10 minute visit were both incredibly welcoming, pleasant and truly happy to help me. I've just called and given this same feedback to Manager Sarah who was also very kind and professional. I might be traveling further to come to this location more often. Thank you so much for your positivity, ladies.
