This station serves its major purpose reasonably well, but there are a few problems that have to be addressed. While accessing the station is not particularly challenging, it could be a lot better if there was some sort of underpass that made accessing the platform a whole lot easier. There are bus services that stop near the station but hardly any that stop inside the station itself, I think they definitely need to make a designated bus bay and more frequent services so it discourages people from taking up the limited number of parking bays available, which is certainly an issue for a lot of people.

It's a nice little station. Good place to go to get some decent shots, especially at night. The station doesn't feel very safe though, as in, it feels like a dangerous place to be at night.

They don’t call it deer park station for no reason. One Monday the 7th of September, I witnessed a herd of 7 deer at this station. I was in absolute awe at these deer. They did not defecate on or near the station, which was fantastic.

No toilets. Limited shelter this is a very exposed site in unfavourable weather. No entrance from South western side. Disabled parking has been re-allocated to station staff! Insufficient parking spots results in adjacent streets being clogged. Outside peak hour, Ballaarat trains do not stop here!
