An amazing op-shop. Lots of variety and the furniture very reasonably priced. Have met and been served by some awesome workers there - Mary, Doug, Ray, Owen , Helen, Kamila and Carlos - they are truly wonderful people. Lots of great bargains to be had.

Good bargain, good items and good price. I love coming to this shop. Thanks to generous and good hearted donors too.

Very poor customer service. Went to donate clothes and got YELLED AT in the parking lot by a lady smoking on a milk crate For people working for a charity they are very angry people. Tip- don't put your donations in the "wrong spot". Will donate elsewhere next time, thanks!

Came with hubby to this BSL Burnside store on a Monday, the afternoon of 12/11/2018: the caucasian woman (manager or employee) "told me off" as if I were a little child. That was when I went to quickly check the butter dish behind her, just a little on her right, whilst she was serving hubby at the cash register. There was no barrier and no signage in place, and I did not put myself directly behind her and inside her "office" as she claims I did. She was irate! And adamant that no one should go inside someone's "office"! This is quite a poor excuse of a person in "Customer Service". At an age where customer service is a priority, and appropriate and courteous communication should be in place, she sure lacks the proper decorum and training! It is sad for a 61 year-old to be scolded in public! So demeaning! Hubby and I, embarrassed, pointed out that there should have been a "clear barrier" to keep customers at bay. Before the new lay-out, there was a clear boundary in place. Besides, we donate goods to Brotherhood! Why the ill-mannered treatment? Was it because we are Asian and old-looking?! Do we look like thieves?! Anyway, we went there to buy a Mexican hat for our Carnival Legend cruise the following day. We felt so let-down and disappointed. Hope this won't happen to anyone and that this "review" will improve their dealings with customers. Besides, staff should have proper customer service training before being placed in the front line. I know how customer service should be as I used to be a nursing supervisor before my retirement... As this experience is quite appaling--especially on Australian shore where there should be "zero tolerance" on bullying and harrassment--I just cannot let this pass.
